Hello Dolls! It’s it such a beautiful day!? I’m itching to kick off these work shoes and run-a-muck at the beach! It’s torture to work so close to the beach on days like today… yet I digress. I’ve submitted an application to become a foster cat mommy! Isn’t that exciting? I’m excited… There’s a whole process that has to take place before I get to take a fuzz ball home, but I’m on my way.
I’ve been missing my kitties ever since I moved into my apartment. I couldn’t bring them because they love the outdoors too much, and I don’t have a balcony or patio and my door opens right onto the street. Bad news for a cat dying to get some fresh air. So I looked into adopting an older cat, but I’m not sure I’m ready for that commitment. Fostering animls works a lot like fostering people. A cat (or 2) come live with me. I take care of them like they were my own—provide litter, food, toys and love—until they’re adopted. It’s a great way for the animals to get socailized and used to living in a house with a family, and to make room for other animals at the shelter.
I’ll keep you updated on what happends and intoduce you to the kitties when they arrive. ^._.^
