Leopard Print // I’ve been drawn to this pattern more than ever lately. It started with a cardigan and high heels I got as a costume of sorts (but then started wearing all the time), and then I purchases a scarf at a JCrew holiday sale, and a couple weekends ago I bought flats. All I really need is pants (or a skirt?) and I could turn into a leopard! But seriously, it’s a great pattern. Subtle enough because of the neutral colors, but bold enough to add a little zing to a boring outfit.

Downton Abbey // Holy crap people… this show is so awesome. It takes place at the beginning of the 20th century in England and tells the story of one household from the perspectives of the haves and the have-nots. It’s so interesting to see the old ideas of birth-right and blood lines, women’s rights, World War I, etc. through such different eyes at the same time and all the drama that surrounds the house and the families in it. Season One is streaming on Netflix, Season Two is airing now and episodes 1-5 are online.

Big Salads // This is kind of a weird one, but I wanted to show you what I’ve been eating lately. I’ve been trying to eat super healthy so most times this means salad. Boring right? Wrong! I start with mixing 2 or 3 kinds of lettuce on my plate. Then I clean out my fridge by tossing on mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, bell peppers, cheese, meats, veggie burgers, etc. If it’s edible, it can go on a salad is my theory. Give it a try—it’s super delicious.
