Carson Ellis // You’re familiar with Carson if you own any of The Decemberists albums. She has illustrated everyone (and is married to front man Colin Meloy). She also illustrated Colin’s new book Wildwood that I posted about a while back. I love her style.
Laura Veirs // I stumbled across Laura while listening to someone else’s Spotify playlist. Her honest voice caught me and I’ve been listening nonstop ever since. Notice the illustraton on her album covers and website…. yep, Carson Ellis! Lots of Portland love!
Portlandia // I saw a couple clips online a long time ago and as they were funny, I kinda forgot about it. Then all of the sudden the whole season was on Netflix! Score! M and I watch when we don’t know what else to watch… It’s great for that. Plus, I kind of have a girl crush on Carrie Brownstein. Image Source
