Bottega Louie // What is there left to say about this trendy downtown restaurant? It’s beautiful and delicious. If you live in LA, you have to go. It reminds me of the pastry shops in Paris combined with the high ceilings and marble floors of New York eateries. I recommend brunch, but I can’t recommend one specific dish. Everything is fantastic, but don’t leave without trying the portobello mushroom fries. They don’t take reservations, so clear your schedule and be prepared to wait, but I’ve found Saturday around 10am seems to be a good time. Image.
Maxi Skirts // I think I could live in this black maxi skirt from Target. It’s so comfortable and easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. Every girl needs one in her closet. You can even wear it up high as a dress with a belt!
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom // After I finished The Art of Racing in the Rain I didn’t have a book in mind to read next. So I decided to start reading through my library. Albom was the next unread name on the shelf. It’s a sweet story of an old professor on his death bed, looking back over his life, giving advice to one of his favorite students. There are so many golden nuggets of truth in this book. Read it and be uplifted.
