When I went to Unique LA “Local Love” Event in February I met the good people behind Further. For some crazy reason I didn’t buy their products then, and for months I thought about it and wished I had. So at the last Unique LA event in May, I made a point to track down Further and pick up some items (I bought hand lotion and a candle).
Made in Los Angeles, Further partners up with local restaurants and recycles their waste, transforming it into the most amazing smelling candles, soap and lotion. I honestly would have bought these just for the scent alone, but the fact they’re actually doing something wonderful for our planet is a HUGE bonus.
I love this little local company. I hope you look out for them at Unique LA, or maybe head over to their shop and pick up a candle. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been looking for a new candle so I will definitely check this out! I love finding out about cool LA companies and the fact that they are eco-friendly is an added bonus.

i think I love you a wee bit. I am a bit of a green monster to be honest. An eco friendly crazy lady and all of my products are fair trade/recycled/eco friendly and highly principled but i don’t advertise it as i don’t want to sound like I’m on my high horse ( I tend to rant and get a bit shouty lol) Im going to check out the brand now ^_^
