As I told you last week, I’m re-reading the Harry Potter series. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to do another Novel Fashion post, this time about one of my favorite heroines, Hermione Granger.
Hermione is smart—wicked smart—kind, patient, trustworthy, and just a little bossy. I love that she has two best friends who are boys, and I imagine her being quite a tomboy herself. I dressed her in a sweater, baggy jeans and sneakers because I figure she doesn’t have time to worry about her frizzy hair when there’s homework to do, and who cares what she looks like in the library anyway? Besides, she needs to keep up with Ron and Harry to keep them out of trouble and/or danger. Don’t we all wish we had more friend’s like Hermione?
