I’m doing another juice cleanse! Just like last time, this one will only be for 3 days. I got all my produce, and made my first batch last night. Last time I juiced, I really loved how it made me feel. I will admit that by day threeI really craved the sensation of chewing, but otherwise it was fantastic. I used the cleanse to kick off a carb-free diet and lost 15 pounds! So I’m hoping that it will help me again this time. (Image by me)
Last time I cleansed, I got horrible headaches because I was dehydrated. This time I’m not going to let that happen. I bought this bright reusable water bottle and cup from Target so I can keep hydrated without wasting plastic. They’re double insulated so they won’t sweat if you put ice in them.
For me summer revolves around reading. But after finishing the Hunger Games last winter, I’ve been trying to find another book series that I could get lost in. In a fit of desperation, I grabbed Harry Potter. I love these books so much. This will be the third time I’m reading the series all the way through, and I’m having a blast. I’m currently in book 3, The Prisoner of Azkaban!
What are you guys reading this summer? Any good recommendations for a good series?

You go girl! That’s awesome that you’re doing a cleanse. What kind of juicer do you use? I want to do a cleanse but still nee a better juicer..
I’m using my boyfriend’s Jack Lalanne Power Juicer. It’s really easy to use, fairly easy to clean, and was somewhat cheap ($150 I think). http://www.powerjuicer.com/
I’ve done a cleanse w/ really limited food (fruit, veggies, nuts), but never done a juice cleanse! I want to… but I’m scared, haha. Hope yours goes well
my health coach Lacy gave me a schedule, and ingredients list. It’s pretty easy once you get all the produce. Here’s Lacy’s website: http://www.lacylike.com/
