So much has happened in the last 3 weeks it seems that our cruise to Mexico was months ago. It’s helpful to look at these photos and remember how relaxing that trip was now that we’re in full throttle packing and moving craziness. Timing is funny huh? Had I known I would be unemployed I never would have spent the money on a vacation. But it was the perfect way to clear my mind, spend uninterrupted time with M, and decide on my next move.
I brought along my trusty Nikon DSLR as well as my dad’s old Canon and a roll of expired 400 film. Unfortunately the old film tore as I was winding it, so I only got half the roll back. It’s too bad because I really love the look of those photos (scroll to the bottom).
It’s interesting to notice the types of things I’m drawn to take pictures of. Lots of food, and bright colors and also when things are grouped together. Do you find that your photos have a consistent theme too?

Gorgeous! Looks like you had a good time!
Okay – that bag of churros looks absolutely amazing, so jealous. My husband, who is a hot sauce freak, has at least 2-3 of the hot sauces in that picture in our refrigerator right now.
