For those of you who don’t know, I’m primarily a web designer, although a do a lot of branding too. I don’t post a lot about that huge part of my life here, and so I thought I’d change it up, and start sharing more of that with you. Most people now days need a brand a website, so I hope I can be a source of information and inspiration if you’re trying to rebrand, build a brand from the ground up, need a new website, or are in the industry yourself.
I’m starting things out slow with some sites I just think are beautiful.
Mercer Tavern // I really love the monochromatic color palette and the modular design. Each box has it’s own information, laid out in it’s own way, but it all works together.
Emporium Pies // This is such a beautiful site. The photography is gorgeous, and the layout is simple. A user is able to get the information fast, which is the most important thing.
Ever Lovin’ Press // This is a really simple portfolio type site. The colors are really great, and it doesn’t hurt that their work is awesome. It makes you want to click to see more.
Cirq // This site is different, and that’s why it works. It looks like an old newspaper or something. I love the use of color, and all the vintage type. Don’t be afraid to step outside the box, and change things up.
I’ve started a pinboard all about web design so follow along if you’re at all interested. And let me know if there’s anything you want me to address or post about in the future! This is going to be fun.
