Welcome to Fall in Michigan!

Well this past week has been amazing. Michigan was bursting with fall color. Everywhere you looked, trees were turning yellow to orange to red. The air is crisp and cold, and everyone is getting ready for the holidays.

We’re heading home tomorrow. Back to te grind, the new apartment (and regular blog posts). I love LA, but I’ll be honest, I’m kinda falling for Plymouth. I love the small town feel, the main street and the friendly people. It’s the kind of place where you can walk to the neighborhood bar and meet your friends for a drink or to watch the game. It seems like a wonderful place to settle down and raise a family. You never know what the future will bring! But in the meantime I’m glad we have family and friends to visit often.

I’ll be posting more real photos later, but until then these are from Instagram.

know ABSOLUTELY how you feel! every time i go home to minnesota i wonder why i’m not there. but, i’m always anxious to get back to CA so i take that as a sign that i’m where i’m supposed to be. but that crisp air, the friendly people, the good drivers and the cheap housing..it’s sure tempting! ;)

  2. I spent a semester studying in Michigan and I always miss it at this time of year! It’s difficult to explain to people just how crips the air is, how amazing pumpkin spiced latte tastes and how beautiful the leaves are…
