Happy Friday lovelies! I’m back in the swing of things here and feeling pumped. This whole freelance thing is really exciting. I’ve been meeting some awesome new people and participating in some great events and collaborations. I thought I should let you in on all the fun stuff going on.
Studio DIY feature // Do you remember Kelly from Studio DIY who helped throw Blognic? We’ve been working on some other exciting projects (secrets!) and she invited me to be a part of her Blogger: In Costume series. Go check mine out here! Ciera Design: Maybe This Inspired That guest column // I am the new guest contributor on Ciera Hozenthal’s awesome blog, Ciera Design. It’s called Maybe This Inspired That and features one piece of Art or Design that could have inspired a few home decor or fashion items. My first post was published yesterday, and this is going to be a weekly feature on Thursdays from here on. It’s really exciting. Let me know what you guys think!
Creative Connections: LA // You guys… seriously, you need to look this up. It’s an every-other-month meet up for creative ladies to just meet, talk, and network. I just went to one last night, and I’m feeling so energized and excited about my work. There are chapters all over the place, so this is not just an LA thing. The next event is the Holiday party in December, so stay tuned and mark your calendars.
Inspired Workshop // My new friend Emilee (who hosts Creative Connections LA) of Tastefully Tattered and my old friend Suzy VanDyke (wedding photographer extraordinaire) are teaming up for a new workshop all about inspiration. If you guys ever feel inspiration overload, like you’re just spinning your wheels with the same old ideas, and nothing new is coming, you might want to check this out. Oh yeah, and I designed the logo!
So add all that to moving, travel, and trying to figure out my new business, and it’s been a very exciting and busy couple of months. I can’t wait to see where it all takes me! Thanks for coming along for the ride!
