Fellow citizens, today is the big day! I hope you’ve all studied your sample ballots and figured out where your polling place is. I love election day and I’ll be walking to my neighborhood polling place in full on red, white and blue. Well, maybe not to this extreme, but you get the idea. Take part in America’s future! Get out and VOTE!

As you can see from our new curtains our living room colors are yellow, black, white and gray. I really love this color combination—it’s gender neutral, fresh, and can be used throughout the seasons. Unfortunately my living room at my current apartment is brown and turquoise. This means I have some shopping to do! Oh darn…
By the way, we’re moving on Saturday! Couldn’t be more excited.

My family doesn’t usually celebrate Bastille Day, but since we are of French heritage, my mom is throwing a small party this year. Really it’s an excuse to eat crepes and drink wine, but I’m not complaining!
